Kurjey, which literally means 'Impression left by sacred body of Guru Rinpoche' is considered to be one of the most holy places in Bhutan.
Kurjey Lhakhang, also known as Kurjey Monastery, is located in the Bumthang district of Bhutan. This is the final resting place of the remains of the first three kings of Bhutan.
